Matryoshka Dolls I had since a trip to Moscow a very long time ago, I decided to scan them for the sake of practice. It's unlikely I'll find a scene in the future for these, as they are unlike the other objects I have scanned since these are very specific, but I had a good time wrapping my head around Path Tracer a bit more and pushing my PC to its limits with render settings. A fair amount of trial and error, but the results were worth the effort; they achieved the weathered windowsill look I was aiming for.
Rendered in Unreal Engine using Path Tracer. The 3D model was created in Blender, and the texture was created in Substance Designer, along with the baking of the texture maps. Substance Painter was used to fix some Normal Map seams, and since it's a relatively flat object, it wasn't a complicated task to take on.
