The Second version of a set of two vases from Hong Kong that I have from when I was living there back as a kid in the 90s. This was captured using a Sony A7RIV and a Sigma lens {Polarized).
Much work had to be done with the cleanup process from reality capture, given it was an extremely reflective object and not much detail other than the base shape could be salvaged from the result. Much of the details for the normal map and the roughness map had to be created in Photoshop instead of Substance Designer (my usual program of choice for creating textures), as the colours on the vase had varying reactions to light and surface detail due to the vase being hand painted.
This was rendered 100% in UE5 using 8K Texture Maps.
