VR Headset Scan

VR Headset I scanned very quickly. Client (Figment Productions) needed the base shape of this so the accuracy of the colour was ignored. I decided to take a few more photos so I could effectively get the shape of the Headset more accurate. Luckily the scan was over the weekend so I could utilize that time for a higher level detail processing setting. In the end the mesh it churned out was over 23 Million Polys, so I decimated that down to 7, which was more acceptable.

For shape purposes this turned out much better than I was expecting, given I was using a 12 megapixel camera for the process. Over 900 Photos.
